Many thanks to everyone who helped launch my campaign for re-election to the Oakland School Board! The election for this race is in November, and we are organizing now!
Since the campaign launched in March, I have received endorsements from many people, most importantly, members of our community, including many of you.
I'm proud to have the support of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Oakland City Councilmembers Dan Kalb and Annie Campbell Washington, State Senator Loni Hancock, Alameda County Superintendent Karen Monroe, Assemblymember Tony Thurmond, former Assemblymember Nancy Skinner, BART Board Director Rebecca Saltzman, and unions including the Northern California Carpenters, the Alameda County Building Trades Council, and the Teamsters.

If you like going to street fairs, we are planning to have booths at two coming up in June, the Love Our Neighborhood festival on June 4 on San Pablo Avenue, and the Temescal Street Fair on June 12 on Telegraph Avenue.
